Question Running Bogroots

So, I'm starting to run Bogroot Growths. I've come to realize when I get to the incubus on lvl2, I end up dying quickly because of their enchantment-removing skill. How do you pull this off when running?

Also, I need help on my build:

Glyph of Swiftness
Deadly Paradox
Shadowform
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Sliver Armor
EVSoH
Shadow Refuge
Dark Escape

Anyone else care to give me what they use/help with the build? Also, a map of what you use could be of great use. Many thanks!

OwZlgQdp38xjIJ9xjozsWSLQTi7kmB-2 man frog runner

OwZTkY/8ZiHRnhHCZIXkmMNLVEA-2 Man frog sliver. (Drop Feigned for Deaths Charge)

Thats what i run all the time with a buddy. Will cost you an essence but with paying customers and you can easily make your money back quickly.

Try them out before you start saying they are crap covers. You dont need to rush the run. i do it all time with a buddy and paying customers in 15-20 mins from start of 1st floor to opening of the chest. You just need to be a little patient and look at how the stormclouds are moving. You can avoid 90% of them if you just pay attention.

I have tried them out, shadow refuge lasts 7 seconds with enchant mod? 1 second cast, and escape halves damage and is a running stance.

For something like bogroots a cake/celerity can replace Dark escape, And aura of restoration or something can replace shadow refuge as a cover enchant.

Did you even look at the builds? dark escape is not even in there, nor is shadows refuge.

Team generally use 3-4 perma runners. If three die no problem because only one person has to be at the shrine.

We are using a team build in SCAR that uses 1 perma, 2 warriors, 2 Paragons 1 necro, and 1 rit and anything else basically. Works fine, been doing consistent 8 min runs. But the OP asked about a solo build. A solo build is possible, but you need to watch your aggro, and it is definatly harder. The 2 man works fine if you have some patience.

Sorry my fault Iron Sheik, im tired, and sick. Must not of read it right. my apologies.

One man is a pain, especially around Khabuus. I still haven't figured out how to get sliver to work properly. I would recommend taking Mindbender over DE, as it'll act as another cover.
Also, make sure you have a set of zealous, +5e, +20% enchanting daggers. With those, you probably don't even need the glyph, but unless you're really good, I'd take it anyways.

Also, you're gonna need to learn the patrol routes of the Incubus, and avoid their aggro all together. It's going to be hard without an IMS, so I'd recommend using cons, or a cupcake, or similar. Using an essence is nice, because it also helps kill Kahbuus.

One last thing: Interesting trick with the first boss you actually have to kill, he doesn't have an innate degen. It's quite possible to kill him by just daggering him to death.

I solo it pretty easily using...

Glyph of swiftness
Deadly paradox
Shadow Form
EBSoH
Sliver
Intesity
Aura of restoration (best cover enchantment)
Deaths charge

Note that i do not use GoLE, this is because when you have to do kill there's more then enough around for a zealous scythe to give you a limitless pool of energy. I also use cupcakes and red rock candies, for the speed boost.

After you cross the river at the start of lvl 2 (just before entering the room with the incubi) look down the right path, if there's 0-2 incubi that way, it's best to go there, and just hug the right wall (this way IMO... is fastest and often the safest). Some people prefer to hug the left wall, but it's generally longer, and more incubi mobs to aggro. but either way, when you get near the next shrine, push Ctrl, and select the foe nearest the shrine (or furthest from you) and deaths charge to it. Once you get past the incubi room, it'spretty simple, you do occassionally get bodyblock by beetles, if so simple deatsh charge out.

NOTE: witht he build i use, i have no guard against cripple, so wait for cripple to wear off before you aggro incubi!

When dealing with incubi, try to cast SF just before you aggro them, cast GoS, DP, SF, then you covers (depending on how many you're about to aggro) it helps to cast aura of restoration last, as it's quick cast, and quickest recharge, so you can cast it straight after it gets stripped.

Getting sliver to target a specific target can be a pain, it works best, if you keep deaths charging to it, and try to stand to the right of it aswell (you can always ping the target, this does nothing, but it makes some people feel better :P). But sometimes you just get unlucky, and sliver wont target him for ages, and leave Khaabus and his 2 warriors until last. if this happens it'll take some time, a summon stone helps a lot here (i favour merch).

If you do use this build, you NEED a zealous scythe of enchanting and zealous daggers also help if only 1 thing left. Attack with your scythe at all time, except when you're casting, for casting quick switch (esc + F1/2/3/4, which ever one you ahve staff on) this is for the half recharge time.

Hope this helps

(sry for all the spelling/grammar mistakes i probably made writing this, i'm a horrible typist =/)
